This wedding was as sweet as it looks. We spent the day with Jake & Stef in the most beautiful location at Devil’s Head Resort. This time of year in Wisconsin offers some of the best summer weddings and this one did not disappoint.
I watched Jake & Stef through out their wedding day and you could just feel the happiness exuding from them. I watched and captured all the little looks, kisses, hand holding and pure joy between the two of them. The way Jake looks at Stef, you don’t find that type of love often.
These two were surrounded by so many people who love, and support them through out their day. Their bridal party was absolutely one of the most amazing bridal parties! They just swept you up in hospitality and you were one of the group! Their friends and family were so generous with conversation, laughter and joking. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much!
They lucked out on a beautiful warm summer day as the setting of their wedding. They said “I do” at the bottom of a gorgeous ski slope, and their reception was just a short walk away in one of the most stunning reception halls I’ve ever seen. The reception hall was filled with floor to ceiling bay windows on one side of the room allowing beautiful natural light to kiss the room. They chose one of the most unique arches and decorated it with touches of purples matching the bridesmaids.

One of the requests Stef had was for a cigar shot at the end of the night. These are some of my most favorite images to capture but also some of the most technical portraits to take with flashes and a pitch black sky. The guys were good sports with us needing a lot of smoke to make it happen!
